Every year North Augusta High School's Service Learning class and the Future Business Leaders of America conducts a service project to benefit the community. This year, partnering with the Navy Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (NJROTC) and the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), North Augusta is honoring those men and women who served or are serving in the Armed Forces through Project HOMAGE. HOMAGE is an acronym that stands for Honoring Our Military with Appreciation and with Grateful Enactments.True to its name, this project involves several actions to benefit active military and veterans.
memorial bricks
NJROTC and FBLA are building a memorial next to the flagpole in front of North Augusta High School. If you would like to help by ordering a memorial brick for a veteran go to the fundraising page by clicking the picture on the right. These bricks will be used as paving stones in the memorial to honor veterans for years to come.

Members of FBLA and NJROTC are traveling to all of the elementary and middle schools in the community to teach about veterans and how individuals can show their appreciation. The project is also designed to unify the community in its support of veterans through building a monument and supporting the Fisher House in Augusta. Augusta Fisher House
Project HOMAGE also seeks to donate to the Fisher House of Augusta. The Fisher House's mission statement is to provide a "home away from home" for military families to be close to a loved one during hospitalization for an illness, disease or injury.
