FUTURE BUSINESS LEADERS OF AMERICA

The Future Business Leaders of America, or (FBLA), is a national organization that encourages career and business studies for students in schools. North Augusta High School's FBLA was started about thirty years ago. Since then it has grown tremendously to be one of the largest organizations in North Augusta High School with over one hundred members. The NAHS FBLA is also well known for its community service involvement. Last year during the 2011-2012 school year the NAHS FBLA was recognized nationally for Project TAB: Teaching Adolescants and adults about Bullying. This Project was an endevor to spread awareness of bullying in our schools throughout the community. NAVY JUNIOR RESERVE OFFICERS' TRAINING CORPS

The Navy Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps, or NJROTC, works to develop students' personal honor, self-reliance, individual discipline and leadership.Their mission statement is to "instill in students in United States secondary educational institutions the values of citizenship, service to the United States, personal responsibility and a sense of accomplishment." NJROTC is a class offered at North Augusta High School. Many members also participate in a Drill team and Rifle team also offered which compete with other schools across the state.
